The invention belongs to a preparation method of starch-based biological latex. The starch-based biological latex comprises the following components: 35-55% of absolutely dry starch, 0.1-10wt% of a plasticizer, 0.1-8wt% of a lubricant and 0.01-35wt% of a starch modifier. Starch emulsion is prepared from a buffer solution prepared from citric acid-disodium hydrogen phosphate. The preparation methodcomprises the following steps: 1) carrying out mechanical pretreatment on raw starch, wherein the pretreatment method comprises the steps of mechanically grinding dry powder by a ball mill for 0.5-12h; 2) preparing a ball-milled raw starch sample into a suspension liquid with the mass concentration of 40-55% by using a buffer solution, placing the suspension liquid in a water bath kettle at thetemperature of 30-55 DEG C, adding the starch modifier, and after heating to the temperature of 80-95 DEG C, insulating for 30-45 minutes; 3) cooling the emulsion in the step 2 to room temperature, adding a catalyst, and adding an oxidant to oxidize for 30-120 min at the temperature of 25-50 DEG C; 4) adding the starch modifier, adjusting pH of the emulsion to be 7-10, and adding a cross-linking agent to react for 20-90 min at the temperature of 50-70 DEG C; and 5) cooling and sieving to obtain the starch-based biological latex prepared by a ball-milling mechanical pretreatment composite biochemical modification method. The preparation method of the biological latex provided by the invention is relatively simple and easy to operate, and the product has the characteristics of moderate viscosity, strong adhesive force and high solid content, and can partially or completely replace petroleum-based latex in the papermaking industry.
