The invention discloses a 1-
watt 8dB attenuation piece for an aluminum
oxide ceramic substrate. The 1-
watt 8dB attenuation piece comprises an aluminum
oxide ceramic substrate with a size of 2*3.5*0.63mm, wherein the back surface of the aluminum
oxide substrate is printed with a back conductive layer, the front surface of the aluminum
oxide substrate is printed with a conducting wire and a
resistor, and the conducting wire is connected with the
resistor, so that an attenuation circuit is formed, the attenuation circuit is symmetrical along the centre line of the aluminum
oxide substrate, an output end and an input end of the attenuation circuit are respectively connected with a
welding disc, and the two
welding discs are symmetrical along the centre line of the aluminum
oxide substrate. A required attenuation value can be obtained by changing the size dimension and the
surface resistivity of the resistance in the attenuation circuit, and the relatively good stationary wave characteristic can be obtained according to the design of the conducting wire. According to the attenuation piece, the resistance area can be enlarged, so that the high-temperature and low-temperature
impact resistance of the attenuation piece can be enhanced, the
quenching damage of the high temperature to the
resistor when the output end is welded with a lead can be avoided, and the risk that the resistor is damaged during practical use caused by the
quenching damage of the resistor can be avoided, so that the performance of the attenuation piece can be greatly improved, and the situation that the original attenuation piece is only applied to the low fluency condition can be broken, and therefore, the attenuation piece is applicable to a 2G-3
G network.
