The invention relates to the field of movable lighting, and particularly discloses a method and a 
system for controlling the illumination intensity of an LED table lamp. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a standard 
white light beam to the surface of paper, and enabling the standard 
white light beam to be perpendicular to the surface of the paper; according to the CIE coordinate (Xn, Yn) of reflected light, acquiring the offset (Xc, Yc) of the reflected light in a standard CIE coordinate (X0, X0), the spectrum FC corresponding to the offset (Xc, Yc) and the variation (see the specification for the expression) of the reflected 
light intensity relative to that of the standard 
white light beam; and controlling the driving currents of a warm light LED, a cold light LED, a 
red light LED, a 
blue light LED and a 
green light LED in the LED table lamp according to the (Xc, Yc), FC and the variation of the reflected 
light intensity. By obtaining (Xc, Yc) of the reflected light and the variation of the reflected 
light intensity and controlling the 
luminous intensity of the warm light LED, the cold light LED, the 
red light LED, the 
blue light LED and the 
green light LED according to (Xc, Yc), FC and the variation of the reflected light intensity, the spectrum corresponding to the reflected light on the paper is close to the 
sunlight spectrum saturation, and excessive fatigue of eyes caused by glare due to excessive reflection or 
diffuse reflection is prevented.
