The buckling deformation-resistant glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin is prepared from the following raw materials in part by weight: 43 to 77 parts of polycarbonate, 3 to 7 parts of flexibilizer, 20 to 50 parts of glass fiber, and 0 to 2 parts of aid; and the glass fiber is short fiber of which the width diameter ratio is (2:1)-(6:1), and the length is 3 to 6mm. The invention also provides a preparation method for the buckling deformation-resistant glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin. The method comprises the following steps of: weighing raw materials in a weight ratio; mixing polycarbonate, flexibilizer, and aid in a mixer for 10 to 30 minutes; and feeding the mixed raw materials into a twin-screw extruder, performing side feeding of the glass fiber, performing melt extrusion, and pelleting. The buckling deformation-resistant glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin has the advantages that the added glass fiber is special-shaped glass fiber which is high in width diameter ratio, so that when melt flows, the orientation of the glass fiber is avoided; therefore, the shrinkage rates in the horizontal and longitudinal directions are consistent with each other, and the buckling performance of a final product is improved; the rigidity and the flowability are improved, and the glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin is excellent is comprehensive mechanical property; and raw materials have few varieties, so that materials can be selected conveniently, and the actual production and operation can be realized conveniently.
