An automated handling system for moving objects from one location to another location is provided with a self-mobile system having a grabber subsystem for grasping objects, including assemblies for movement in four directions, along X, Y and Z axes and through an angle θ. The system also has a translating carriage assembly for moving the grabber subsystem and power supply and drive systems. A sensing device, such as an imager, is provided to determine the geometric position of the objects and to move the grabber subsystem accordingly. The tester includes a connector operable to connect to the wiring harness and a plurality of connectors. The tester is configured to receive signals from the wiring harness for use in diagnosing the fault source. The manipulation tool couples to and decouples from the rotary component and the tool is operable to rotate the rotary component when the tool is coupled to the rotary component. The plurality of human readable instructions includes information on how to diagnose the fault of the turbocharger system using the tester and the physical manipulation tool.

The ink reservoir includes a containment vessel, a body of reservoir material disposed in the vessel, a fluid interconnect opening formed in the vessel, and a screen disposed in the containment vessel and across the interconnect opening. The screen has a pore size small enough to prevent air passage at operational pressures and large enough to allow colorant particles dispersed in the ink carrier fluid to pass therethrough.

A flushing valve suitable for reducing water wastage from a cistern of a toilet is described. The flushing valve comprising an inlet valve, an outlet valve and a timer valve. The timer valve is mechanically connected to both the inlet valve and the outlet valve so as to control their movement between an open and a closed position such that the timer valve prevents both the inlet valve and the outlet valve from simultaneously being in their open positions. By preventing the inlet valve and the outlet valve from simultaneously being in their open positions results in the fact that the flushing valve does not allow the cistern to start to refill until after the flush process is complete. This results in a significant reduction in the volume of water passing through the cistern during each flushing cycle.

A method and apparatus for inspecting utility scale wind turbine generator blades from the ground includes a digital camera and an adjustable polarizing filter on a stable platform. The camera is used to record multiple digital images with varying polarization angles using an artificial polarized or polarized solar illumination to produce images with the same or similar registration but different polarization angles, followed by image processing using subtraction or absolute difference routines to yield high resolution, high contrast images with reduced glare and excellent surface definition over the field of view.

In particular, the apparatus and process are directed to the modification of certain components of a can vending machine to enable it to be utilized for dispensing of newer, 16- or 20-ounce beverage bottles. The modification includes a change in the spacing and configuration of the container storage rack and the modification of dispensing mechanisms to allow a can-type system to dispense bottles and thereby avoid the need to completely replace the vending machine.

A spray nozzle assembly includes a body and a spray nozzle retainer cap, and further including a device for protecting wear components from damage. Preferably, housings are provided within the spray nozzle assembly for protecting wear components, such as a swirl chamber and an orifice disc from damage. The present invention provides an apparatus for connecting two pairs of conductors and one pair of ground wires and for allowing separation of the same upon the application of a tensional force upon at least one of the conductors or ground wires. The apparatus comprises two plates that each defines three holes configured to receive two conductors and a ground wire, wherein the plates are positioned adjacent to each other such that the respective holes in each plate are aligned such that the conductors and ground wires coming from each plate would be in physical contact. Three connectors hold the plates together. The first two connectors are configured to release the plates upon the application of a tensional force on the conductors or ground wires before the third connector releases the plates, thereby separating the conductors before separating the ground wires.
