A cooling system for use in a work machine is provided, in which an increase in the load imposed on a fan driving circuit and occurrence of abnormal noise can be prevented without fail by means of an inexpensive arrangement at the time of switching the rotating direction of a cooling fan. To this end, the cooling system comprises: (1) a variable displacement hydraulic pump driven by the engine; (2) a forwardly and reversely rotatable hydraulic motor operated by hydraulic oil supplied from the hydraulic pump; (3) a cooling fan driven by the hydraulic motor; (4) an electromagnetic selector valve for switching the rotating direction of the hydraulic motor between a forward direction and a reverse direction; (5) controlling means for controlling switching of the electromagnetic selector valve and controlling the hydraulic pump so as to minimize the discharge oil rate of the hydraulic pump during switching of the electromagnetic selector valve.

Integrated circuit device, diagnosis method and diagnosis circuit for the same

Hardware diagnosis of a disk array apparatus is conducted before shipment by using a self-diagnosis circuit, using the same criteria that apply to actual [in-use] equipment. A logical circuit 18 and a self-diagnosis circuit 22 are mounted on an LSI 10. When a test program is loaded to a RAM 28 and a diagnosis command is input to a CPU 26 before shipment, a pattern generation circuit 24 generates a pattern and expected value pattern data corresponding to the pattern under the control of the CPU 26. When the pattern is input to the logical circuit 18, the logical circuit 18 operates according to the pattern and outputs pattern data showing the test result. An expected value checking circuit 30 compares and checks this pattern data against the expected value pattern data and then outputs the diagnosis result regarding whether the logical circuit 18 is normal or abnormal. The content of the diagnosis result is displayed on an external display unit.

When it is determined that laundry having a waterproof property is contained in the drum, the motor rotation control unit controls the operation of a driving motor such that the drum is rotated at a predetermined number of rotations or less during the dewatering stroke.
