The application discloses an electromagnetic reaming device and method for
pipe material, and belongs to the technical field of
pipe material reaming. The electromagnetic reaming device for
pipe material comprises a clamping forming part, a mold cavity is arranged in the clamping forming part, one end of a small-
diameter mold cavity is attached to the outer wall of pipe material to be reamed, and the other end of the large-
diameter mold cavity is equal to the target reaming outer
diameter of the pipe material; a solenoid coil is used to generate a
pulse magnetic field when inputting a
pulse current, so as to induce an induced current on the pipe material to generate an electromagnetic force for driving pipe reaming; the coil packaging part comprises an
epoxy resin sealing shell and a rubber sleeve, and the coil positioning part is used to limit the
epoxy resin sealing shell, so that the
epoxy resin sealing shell is coaxial with the pipe material to be reamed and the movement of the epoxy resin sealing shell along the radial direction is limited; and a
pulse discharge module is used to provide a
pulse current for the solenoid coil. The electromagnetic reaming device for pipe material avoids the problems of too low surface precision or even damage caused by the direct contact between the surface of the reaming section and the punch.
