This application discloses a method, apparatus, and
testing equipment for detecting the operating status of a
ventricular assist device (VAD), belonging to the field of
medical device technology. The VAD includes a drive device and an interventional pump. The drive device drives the interventional pump. The method includes: acquiring current data of the drive device in its operating state; when the current data indicates an increase in the load on the drive device, classifying and identifying the operating status of the VAD based on the changes in the current data over a first time period; and issuing an
alarm message corresponding to the identification result, whereby the identification result indicates an abnormal operating state causing the increased load. This method, without relying on
medical imaging equipment, promptly indicates the cause of the abnormal load increase, achieving automatic identification of abnormal operating states, reducing safety risks and protecting the life of the patient, and reducing
radiation damage to the
human body from the operation of
medical imaging equipment.
