In the case of a trimming method for a PLL circuit operating based on the principle of a two-point modulation, the PLL circuit is locked without any modulation being impressed and then an analog and a digital modulation signal are impressed into the locked PLL circuit. A signal that is characteristic of the PLL control error is tapped from the PLL circuit, and the modulation swing in the analog modulation signal is changed such that the characteristic signal has the same value as before the analog and digital modulation signals were impressed.

Or, the present invention includes a structure that is covered by a shield means, or a means that is disposed immediately on a surface of the non-evaporable getter pump but at a position where the electron beams are not seen and has a concave structure capable of trapping the dropout foreign particles on a lower portion of the non-evaporable getter pump.

The air in the ring gap (32) created can be evacuated by means of an evacuating system (48). The plug (28) is provided with a stopper (38) protruding into the sample chamber (24) and a data logger (41) for recording the temperature in the sample chamber (24). Following the freezing of the coolant, the transport container (1) enables distribution times and intermediate storage of up to 14 days without any risk of damage to the tissue samples (26) received therein.

One-step production of gold sols

The present invention comprises novel “one-step” methods for the production of gold sol and gold sol conjugates. The methods disclosed herein produce gold sol and colloidal gold conjugates with product with yields on the order of about 20 ODs. Since current methods in the art yield conjugates at concentrations on the order of about 2 ODs, the present invention represents an approximately 10-fold increase in production over conventional methods. The novel method provided herein also does not result in the production of undesired aggregate by-products that, in conventional methods, must be removed via centrifugation, filtration or other means. The new method is therefore less labor intensive and requires less time to complete than standard methods in the art for synthesizing pure colloidal gold conjugates.
