The method comprises obtaining sewage samples of a plurality of preset monitoring sites, performing gene sequencing on the sewage samples of each monitoring site to obtain gene sequence data of each monitoring site, and performing virus concentration identification on the sewage samples of each monitoring site to obtain the virus concentration of each monitoring site; performing gene analysis on the gene sequence data of each monitoring site, and constructing a phylogenetic tree corresponding to the plurality of monitoring sites based on the gene analysis result; determining a virus transmission path based on the phylogenetic tree, and updating parameters of a virus infection model based on the virus transmission path; and performing infection prediction on the virus concentration of each monitoring site based on the parameter-updated virus infection model to obtain a virus infection trend.
