The present invention is constituted by a neck band assembly, a left functional assembly and a right functional assembly. The invention is directed to manufacture of fertilizer having commercial levels of nitrogen supplemented with organic substances. The process treats organic matter with acid causing hydrolysis of organic polymers after which the mix is injected with nitrogen. The resultant sterilized and liquefied organic matter is disbursed over recycled material for the production of granules. Because the process allows for the controlled addition of acids and ammonia, desired levels of components can be achieved. The process is scalable, odor controlled and safe thereby allowing for the location of biosolid processing facilities in most any location. Further, the fertilizer of the invention provides a dual nitrogen-release profile when applied to crops. After application to soil, fertilizer of the invention releases an immediate bolus of nitrogen, similar to traditional ammonium sulfate, followed by continued slow release of nitrogen typically over a season.

A high temperature damper for a roller bearing having a long shelf life and capable of withstanding temperatures in a gas turbine engine shaft. The damper includes a damping chamber formed between a stator housing and the outer race of the bearing, and is filled with a liquid metal such as Gallium that has a paste-like consistency at room temperature so as not to flow and leak from the damping chamber, and a liquid-like consistency at about 1,500 degrees F. in order to withstand the extreme temperatures of a gas turbine engine. Seals having a U-shape cross section are made of a high temperature metal like Hastalloy or Hynes and enclose the liquid metal within the damping chamber.

The invention is directed to manufacturing fertilizers having commercial levels of nitrogen reacted with organic substances. The process comprises treatment of organics with acid that acidifies and heats a mix causing the hydrolysis of polymers. The acidified organic mix is injected sequentially with a nitrogen base under conditions that result in a partially neutralized melt. The sterilized and liquefied organic matter is disbursed over recycled material for production of granules in a granulator before final drying. The process is green scalable, and safe for the location of community organics processing facilities in locations without generating a nuisance to local communities. Fertilizers also provide a green, dual nitrogen-release profile when applied to crops releasing a bolus of nitrogen over one to two weeks following application followed by a continued slow or enhanced efficiency release of nitrogen over a growing season.

The invention relates to an HC trap catalyst and a preparation method for the HC trap catalyst. The HC trap catalyst includes an HC adsorbent for adsorbing HC in exhaust gas exhausted from an internal combustion engine, and an oxidation accelerating element contained in the HC adsorbent for accelerating partial oxidation of the HC adsorbed by the HC adsorbent. With the above configuration, HC in exhaust gas can be partially oxidized. As a result, the oxidation reactivity of HC can be improved remarkably. Further, since the oxidation accelerating element is contained in the HC adsorbent, the HC adsorbed in the HC adsorbent can be partially oxidized directly. As a result, the partial oxidation can be promoted efficiently.

A gel fixative composition having increased, viscosity which fixes tissues as well as or better than standard liquid fixative solutions. The gel fixative compositions are less prone to leakage and are less likely to splash or spill from containers when they are mishandled. Because of their viscosity, they are less likely to penetrate surfaces and are more easily cleaned up if spilled. A hydraulic vehicle seat system providing powered adjustment of the position of a seat or seat portion. The system comprises a pump, flow controller, and hydraulic actuator arranged in a hydraulic circuit. The actuator includes a first and second system protection valves for the respective inlet and outlet of the actuator. The system protection valves are adapted to be activated in response to pressure within the actuator exceeding a predetermined threshold level. When activated the system protection valves close off the respective inlet and outlets to hydraulically isolate the actuator and hydraulic fluid within the actuator from the remainder of the hydraulic circuit and adjustment system. This protects the remainder of the circuit and system from excessive pressures which may be generated within an by the actuators under crash loading.
