This invention discloses a primer-probe combination, detection method, and kit for detecting human polyomaviruses, belonging to the field of
molecular biology. The primer-probe combination includes primers with sequences as shown in SEQ ID NO. 1-28 and probes with sequences as shown in SEQ ID NO. 29-31. The detection method and kit constructed using this combination can simultaneously detect 14 human polyomaviruses (BKPyV, JCPyV, KIPyV, WUPyV, MCPyV, HPyV6, HPyV7, TSPyV, HPyV9, MWPyV, STLPyV, HPyV12, NJPyV, and LIPyV) in the same
reaction tube. The human polyomavirus detection scheme provided by this invention has advantages such as wide coverage, high specificity, high sensitivity, and strong robustness, and is of great significance for the safety and
quality control of biological products, especially
cell products.
