This invention provides a regulating device for a
butterfly valve orifice plate for
mixed gas in a
coke oven
basement, comprising a valve body, a continuous regulating mechanism for the
butterfly valve, and a fixed throttling mechanism for the
orifice plate. The inner cavity of the valve body serves as a gas flow channel, and the continuous regulating mechanism for the
butterfly valve is installed within the channel perpendicular to the gas delivery direction. The continuous regulating mechanism for the butterfly valve is a structure that continuously and steplessly adjusts the opening and closing of the butterfly plate through a
pneumatic actuator to achieve different gas flow rates. The fixed throttling mechanism for the
orifice plate is an integrated throttling structure arranged within the channel along the gas delivery direction, and is sealed by a self-tightening lever clamping mechanism. The invention also provides a method for controlling gas flow using this device, which solves the problems of coarse regulation, the need to replace the orifice plate, and operational hazards associated with traditional orifice plate valves. It achieves continuous and precise regulation of gas flow without the need to replace the orifice plate, significantly improving the
coke oven heating
control level and
system safety. It is particularly suitable for
coke oven
basement gas pipeline systems where space is limited and safety requirements are extremely high.
