The invention relates to a belt feeder without a carrier roller. The belt feeder comprises a funnel, a gate and a tank body, wherein the gate and the tank body are located at the lower part of the belt feeder, wherein an annular roller adhesive tape is arranged at the lower part of the tank body and is driven to rotate by a transmission drum and a redirection drum at the two ends of the adhesive tape, rollers are arranged at the two sides of the adhesive tape, and a fixed support used for supporting the rollers to rotate on the fixed support is arranged below the rollers. The belt feeder is novel in design, simple in structure, dramatically changes the design idea that the belt feeder is driven to rotate by a plurality of roller support adhesive tapes, so that the equipment weight and the increasing of the cost caused by the plurality of roller support adhesive tapes can be prevented, equipments can be conveniently maintained, and the wavy motion state of a belt can be changed; materials are in relative rest states on the belt, so that the jolt and friction between the materials and the belt can be reduced, stable operation as well as safety and reliability can be realized, and the friction between the carrier roller and the belt can be reduced, the conveying resistance can be greatly reduced, the power consumption can be reduced, and energy can be saved. The belt feeder is mainly used for middle transfer process of stock bin materials in the industries of coal mine, metallurgy, building materials, electric power and the like.
