The invention discloses a 
rail traffic tool which can effectively solve the problem of urban traffic 
jams, substantially provides a single rail 
system which performs double-layer operation. The single rail 
system disclosed by the invention is characterized in that a suspended 
train operates at the lower layer of the single rail 
system, and shares the same rail with a main 
train operating at the upper layer of the single rail system; the upper layer of the single rail system is also provided with a set of system consisting of the main 
train and an auxiliary train, wherein the main train ceaselessly operates on a main train rail, the auxiliary train can stop at any position on an auxiliary train rail, and the two rails are adjacent to each other closely; and when the single rail system is running, before the main train arrives, passengers get on the auxiliary train and then the auxiliary train starts, when the speeds of the auxiliary train and the main train are same, the 
doors of the two trains are opened simultaneously so as to exchange the passengers, and then the auxiliary train is separated from the main train, slows down and finally stops; and the passengers get down. A 
light rail required to be erected passes through the space above a six-storeyed district, the upper and lower 
layers are respectively provided with a 
pedestrian path for waiting trains, an 
elevator is arranged every one hundred meters along the 
pedestrian path so as to take the passengers to the heights of two 
layers of 
pedestrian paths, and the single rail system performs unified control and operates orderly and stably.
