A
traditional Chinese medicine formula for treating calculus and acute attacking symptoms caused by the calculus comprises the following components in proportion by
mass: 30-50 g of Radix Rosae Normalis, 30-50 g of Herba Lysimachiae, 15-25 g of
dandelion, 15-25 g of Folium Pyrrosiae, 15-25 g of Herba Plantaginis, 6-9 g of brown
sugar, 3-6 g of old tea leaves, 6-9 g of Misgurni anguillicaudati
powder and 1.5-3 g of
Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli
powder. A preparation method of the
traditional Chinese medicine formula comprises the following steps: (1) placing the Radix Rosae Normalis, the Herba Lysimachiae, the Herba Taraxaci, the Folium Pyrrosiae, the Herba Plantaginis, the brown
sugar and the old tea leaves in a marmite in proportion by
mass, adding water and decocting for 30 minutes, removing residues and taking liquid
medicine; (2) respectively taking Misgurni anguillicaudati and
Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli in proportion,
drying and
grinding into
powder, adding the powder into the liquid
medicine, mixing to obtain the final product. A patient orally takes one
dose of the
traditional Chinese medicine formula every day. The traditional Chinese
medicine formula has effects of
softening and resolving hard masses, inducing
diuresis for treating stranguria syndrome,
softening and removing calculus, clearing away heat and removing toxic substances, and diminishing
inflammation and stopping pain; various symptoms such as acute bile and
kidney colic pain,
inflammation and hydronephrosis which are caused by gallstone and lithangiuria; the calculus can be softened and removed effectively after a patient orally takes the traditional Chinese medicine formula for a long time; and
surgery is avoided.
