The ISD suspension system comprises a spring, a damper and the inerter. The lower end of the unsprung mass is connected with pavement excitation through a tire equivalent spring. The inerter is mounted ona flywheel shaft in a matched mode through a flywheel. The guiding rod only makes vertical direction motion and simultaneously drives the sliding block to slide smoothly on the slidingblock connecting rod. The rotating range of the sliding block connecting rod in the sliding block connecting rod type inerter is only in the half side where the guiding rod is located, the overall mass of the inerter can be effectively decreased, and thus the inerter coefficient of the inerter is variable in the working process.
