The invention discloses an anti-radiation new material and a preparation method thereof. The anti-radiation new material consists of the following raw materials in part by weight: 4-8 parts of polyvinyl chloride, 3-6 parts of barium sulfate powder, 7-14 parts of tungsten oxide powder, 2.5-5 parts of samarium polyacrylate, 4.5-9 parts of lead polyacrylate, 5-10 parts of ethyl acetate, 8-16 parts ofdipentaerythritol, 10-20 parts of organic silicon and 6-12 parts of auxiliary material. The anti-radiation new material and the preparation method thereof disclosed by the invention have the benefitsthat the anti-radiation new material is simple in formula, relatively-cheap in raw material composition and good in anti-radiation effect in the case of saving the cost and reducing the labor, also is endowed with better mechanical properties while the better anti-radiation performance is achieved and has a wide application prospect; the anti-radiation new material is simple in processing process, requires no pre-treatment, can be processed by adopting conventional equipment, does not adopt a vulcanization process and is more environmentally-friendly; in addition, a non-vulcanization processis adopted, so that the anti-radiation inorganic components can be recycled, so that the cost can be further saved.
