A fuel cell reaction of hydrogen and oxygen produces electrical energy as well as by-product water which diffuses back into the power generator as water vapor to react with the hydrogen fuel, producing more hydrogen gas. This generated hydrogen gas is then used as a fuel which allows the fuel cell to generate additional electrical power and additional water. The process runs without any attached water source or water supply other than the water which is produced by the fuel cells themselves.

This disclosure describes a system for recycling and reusing water from sprinkler systems to water or irrigate a yard or an area of land. The system includes a water reclamation tank that stores water captured from beneath the area of land. When it is time to water the area of land, the sprinkler system draws water from the water reclamation tank. A portion of this water is then recaptured and supplied back to the water reclamation tank for further storage until the next time the sprinkler system is activated. This cyclical process occurs repeatedly and enables a significant reduction in the amount of freshly supplied water used to maintain the area of land.

A cyclonic power wash system uses high pressure, high temperature water for selectively cleaning large, flat, concrete or asphalt surfaces. The sprayed water is reclaimed by vacuuming it through holes in the bottom of a reclamation ring attached to the underside of the mobile cyclone sprayer, filtering the vacuumed water and returning it to a storage tank for re-use by the system. The filtration tank initially filters out large matter in an inlet trough and smaller matter in a plurality of cascading chambers. A rotary union in the sprayer prevents the water, passing from the inlet of the rotary union to the discharge thereof, from leaking through or around a seal formed by pressing together a pair of hard, durable sealing surfaces, for example, silicon carbide, one of which is non-rotatably slidingly received in an upper recess of the union's fixed housing and the other, affixed to a spindle rotatably received and retained in a lower recess of the housing. The sliding fit interface of the non-rotatable seal face in the upper recessed housing is sealed by an o-ring supported at its inner bore by extended portions adjacent the central bores of the members between which it is sandwiched. Upward and rotational forces are applied to the spindle in reaction to the water exiting from nozzles affixed to a spray bar attached to the spindle.

The recycling treatment method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1) carrying out desalting, concentrating and initial hard water removal on the salt-containing wastewater through a general electrodialyzer at first, returning obtained low-salt wastewater to a desalting process for preparing pure water, and carrying out deep hard water removal on high-salt wastewater through ion exchange; (2) pumping the preprocessed high-salt wastewater into a bipolar membrane electrodialyzer for recycling treatment, dissociating sodium chloride and water for greatly reducing the content of salt in the wastewater, and obtaining hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide at the same time; returning the obtained low-salt wastewater to a water concentration chamber of the general electrodialyzer for concentrating again. According to the recycling treatment method, the environmental pollution caused by direct discharge of the high-salt wastewater is avoided, wastes (salt) are turned into wealth (acid and alkali), the water recovery rate of a salt water removal process is increased, the integral water preparation cost is remarkably reduced, and good economic and social benefits are achieved.

The invention provides a desulfurization waste water zero-discharging treatment technology for coal-fired power plants. The desulfurization waste water zero-discharging treatment technology comprises a pretreatment system, a membrane process distillation system, a fresh water reuse and purification system, a concentrate water recovery and evaporative crystallization system and a sludge treatment system. The pretreatment system comprises the processes of pH adjustment, first-stage precipitation, coagulation and second-stage precipitation. Waste water treated by the pretreatment system enters the membrane process distillation system, and discharged sludge enters a sludge treatment system. One side of a membrane assembly in the membrane process distillation system is the cooling side and is in a negative pressure state. The waste water evaporates on the membrane surface and passes through the cooling side of the membrane surface in the form of vapor, and then the vapor coagulates into fresh water and enters the fresh water reuse and purification system, so that fresh water is reused by power plants and other relevant water-consuming systems. The other side of the membrane assembly is the heating side, and waste water not passing through the membrane surface forms concentrate water and enters the concentrate water recovery and evaporative crystallization system, so that resource utilization of concentrate water is achieved. Correspondingly, a filtering device applied in an apparatus of the process includes a preliminary filter, an activated zeolite positive ion adsorber and an active carbon negative ion adsorber sequentially communicated with one another. Compared with the prior art, the heavy metal wastewater treatment process and the apparatus can recover the reclaimed water for producing domestic and production water, on the one hand, the treatment process costs are greatly saved, medium and small-sized enterprises can also afford to the process and apparatus, and the application range is broader; and on the other hand, the treatment capacity in unit time is larger, and the recovery rate of reclaimed water is higher.
