The invention discloses a method for manufacturing electric equipment through combination of 3D printing and a traditional manufacturing technology and a purpose of the method. Firstly, a three-dimensional CAD model of parts is generated in a computer; then, the model is sliced into layers according to a certain thickness, three-dimensional information of the parts are converted into a series of two-dimensional contour information, and metal is molten through a crucible, and formed molten drops flow out of a nozzle; then, under control of the computer, the molten drops are stacked layer by layer according to the two-dimensional contour information, and three-dimensional solid parts or similar-shape parts are obtained. By means of the method, all designs are achieved in the computer, the actual manufacturing process is carried out under the control of the computer, the advantages of digital, intelligent and paperless manufacturing are really achieved, a complex three-dimensional structure can be directly formed, constraint conditions in the part design and manufacturing processes in the traditional technology are reduced, and the method is a new development direction in the constraint-free forming technology.
