The invention relates to a vehicle-used electric excitation planetary type engine
starter, which mainly comprises an electric excitation mechanism, a
direct current motor, a planetary speed
reducer, a shifting fork mechanism, a driving mechanism, an output mechanism, an
electromagnet, an insulation block, a terminal post and a driving shaft. The engine
starter adopts the structural design of combining electric excitation, the
direct current motor, the planetary speed
reducer and the driving mechanism, and greatly improves starting moment of the engine. The outside of the
starter adopts a flameproof structure, and the inside of the starter adopts a 24 V
electromagnetic field and the
direct current motor which are connected in parallel; the transmission speed ratio of the planetary speed
reducer is 4.727 to 1; after
speed reduction, the planetary speed reducer is linked with the
electromagnet through the shifting fork mechanism, and is engaged and linked with link gears of the engine through the driving shaft and output gears; after conversion, the starting moment is more than or equal to 80 Nm, and improves by 50 percent compared with that of the prior motor; and the starting is fast and powerful. The device has reasonable design, compact structure, as well as convenient operation and use, and is an ideal starting device for engines of high-power explosion preventing vehicles with four cylinders and more than six cylinders.
