The adhesive has good initial adhesion and wonderful flexibility, can be uncovered and adhered repeatedly and can be produced with the simple production technology.

The invention discloses a water-based adhesive, and a preparation method and application thereof. The water-based adhesive is composed of a water-based polyurethane emulsion, a water-based acrylic emulsion, a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion, a butadiene-styrene latex, a water-based terpene resin emulsion, redispersible latex powder, starch, methanol, a mildewproof bactericide and water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) heating the mixture of starch and water to gelatinize, thereby obtaining a starch emulsion; 2) adding a water-based polyurethane solution and methanol A into the charging basket to obtain a mixed solution; 3) adding the starch emulsion into the mixed solution to obtain a semifinished solution; and 4) sequentially adding the other components into the semifinished solution in the step 3) to obtain the water-based adhesive. The water-based adhesive is used for bonding soft PVC (polyvinyl chloride) foamed materials. The adhesive has the advantages of high bonding strength, high drying rate, environment friendliness and no toxicity, and is especially suitable for bonding soft PVC foamed materials.

The invention discloses a method for preparing a solid adhesive. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: first, oxidizing a mixture of corn starch and waxy rice starch by sodium hypochlorite in an alkali condition to prepare oxidized starch; then, weighing 25-30 parts of oxidized starch, and adding 50-60 parts of water into the oxidized starch to prepare slurry; adding 5-8 parts of 25% sodium hydroxide solution into the slurry under constantly stirring, stirring for 2 minutes, and standing; finally, adding 4-6 parts of 10% boric acid solution after the slurry is completely gelatinized, adding proper water to dilute the slurry to a proper viscosity, uniformly stirring, and standing for 5-10 minutes to obtain the oily yellow translucent adhesive. The method has the advantages of simple process, convenience in operation, no organic solvent, safety and environmental friendliness; the prepared adhesive is strong in viscosity and long in storage period and is applicable to adhesion of various cartons.
