Employee Retention definition. A function of the HR department tasked with reducing the number of employees leaving the company by improving key processes and conditions.

Pass through sliding drapery suspension system

A drapery mounting system comprised of a drapery rod member, a drapery hanger element, and a support member for the rod. The support member is positioned below and intermediate the respective opposed ends of the drapery rod. The support member includes a saddle, a support arm, and a retainer. The saddle is shaped to support a lower external portion of said drapery rod. The saddle extends laterally of the drapery rod for less than about the cross-sectional width of the rod to permit a drapery hanger to pass unimpeded over the saddle. The saddle element preferably has longitudinally opposed edges disposed along the drapery rod. The longitudinally opposed edges are generally convexly arcuate relative to a longitudinal axis of the drapery rod. The support and retention functions are separated. The saddle supports the rod and the retainer releasably retains the drapery rod in engagement with the saddle. A support arm supports from below the saddle. The drapery hanger is slidably supported on the drapery rod member for substantially unimpeded movement past the support member. The drapery hanger typically has a generally question mark shaped form including a hook portion with an open mouth and a depending leg portion, with the open mouth preferably being of sufficient width to pass the drapery rod member laterally therethrough.

Method for preparing super-strong water-absorbing water-retaining agent

InactiveCN102010482AStrong antibacterial propertiesSolve mildewCross-linkRetention function
The invention discloses a method for preparing a super-strong water-absorbing water-retaining agent, which comprises the following steps of: gelatinizing or dispersing a biomass base material which is easy to degrade to form a mixture of the gelatinized or dispersed biomass base material and an unsaturated graft monomer, regulating the pH value to be between 3 and 9, and adding a cross-linking agent; and adding an active material with bacteriostatic and antibacterial activity to initiate polymerization so as to prepare the super-strong water-absorbing water-retaining agent which has bacteriostatic and antibacterial effects and is easy to degrade. The super-strong water-absorbing water-retaining agent which is prepared from the biomass base material such as starch, cellulose, polysaccharide, protein and the like and is easy to degrade has high bacteriostatic and antibacterial characteristics, the problems of poor mildew prevention, water absorption and retention functions and persistent characteristics and the like of the super-strong water-absorbing water-retaining agent product are solved, the preparation process is simplified, reaction time is shortened, production cost is greatly reduced through water and energy conservation, and waste liquid is not generated in the process.

Spinach planting method

The invention belongs to the technical field of vegetable cultivation, and particularly relates to a spinach planting method. The spinach planting method comprises steps as follows: 1, determination of sowing time and varieties of autumn spinach: seeds are sown during August and September and can be harvested in batches after being sown for 30-40 days; 2, soil preparation and bedding: loose, fertile and subacid soil with water and nutrient retention functions and good irrigation and drainage conditions is preferably selected, and the pH (potential of hydrogen) value is 5.5-7; 3, sowing and seedling raising: broadcast sowing is generally adopted, the seeds are soaked for 12 hours one week before sowing in summer and autumn, then subjected to germination acceleration at the temperature of 20-25 DEG C and sown after germination in 3-5 days; 4, field management: diluted liquid manure is applied once after autumn spinach grow true leaves, additional fertilizers are applied in the principle that the concentration of the fertilizers is gradually increased in combination of thinning and weeding after two true leaves grow out, and more composted manure fertilizers are applied at the earlier stage; 5, control of diseases and pests: dimethoate which has the concentration of 40% and is diluted for 1000 times or pirimicarb which has the concentration of 50% and is diluted for 2000-3000 times is applied for controlling aphid; 6, timely harvesting: generally, when seedlings are 10 cm high or higher, the spinach can be harvested in batch.

Cognitive educational tool for effectuating learning

The following concept is to be utilized in the acquisition of information by combining various learning styles. Key areas addressed are the increment of student participation, increased levels of student honesty, and higher rates of student responsivity. The tool encourages the development of student-teacher rapport levels and thus promotes the ability to acquire and retain functional techniques and information. The concept addresses real life situations by creating functional problem solving strategies to be used at specific junctures in both the scenarios and everyday life. The tool is preventative in nature, and is also culturally, cognitively, age appropriate, gender and scenario flexible. The adaptability highlights the vast spectrum of issues the concept can resolve. Overall the process is designed to increase participants' level of competency when encountering situations, which impact their pro social development and / or success in real life situations. In doing so the likelihood of engaging in detrimental or negative behaviors is significantly reduced. The program focuses on enhancing social skills, responsibility, self-control, pro social cognition, and moral reasoning. All of the aforementioned skills are nurtured and developed through the alternative learning style used to engage the client, through the therapeutic process.
