The invention discloses a double-air-bag tracheal
foreign body extractor which comprises a hollow hose, an extraction air bag, a supporting air bag and a conical elastic soft head, wherein the extraction air bag, the supporting air bag and the conical elastic soft head are connected with the hollow hose. The longitudinal section of the extraction air bag is in a double-U shape, and the extraction air bag is made of materials which are good in elasticity and strength. The longitudinal section of the supporting air bag is in a shape like a Chinese character 'ao', and the supporting air bag is made of materials which are good in strength and poor in elasticity. The two air bags are connected with an inner cavity through air holes formed in the wall of the hollow hose encircled by the two air bags. The front end of the hollow hose is connected with the conical
solid elastic head. The
glottis is exposed through a laryngoscope, the extractor is coated with lubricating oil, when the conical elastic soft head is put into trachea and gradually put deep into the position close to the tracheal bifurcation,
a moderate amount of gas is injected into the hollow hose through an
injector until the hollow hose can be pulled out exactly, then the hollow hose is pulled out slowly until the hollow hose is close to the
glottis, then the
moderate amount of gas is injected again, the
diameter of the front end of the hollow hose becomes small until the hollow hose can pass the
glottis easily, the air bags are pulled out, and
foreign bodies can be taken out. The double-air-bag tracheal
foreign body extractor has the advantages of being convenient and fast to use, free of a bronchoscope, free of secondary injury and capable of taking out a plurality of small
foreign bodies at a time.
