The business demand is translated into IT application demand, which is translated into IT architecture layer demand. Resource groups are created for each IT application, IT architecture layer and resource type combination. The utilization for each IT resource group within the IT architecture layers is computed using the created resource groups, IT application demand and IT architecture layer demand. Under or over-utilized IT resource groups may be identified using the computed utilization for each IT resource group. Upon identifying such IT resources, an optimal resource profile (e.g., number of servers) for each resource group is computed. In this manner, the utilization of IT resources can be more accurately predicted thereby allowing the IT resources to be used more effectively without over-utilizing or underutilizing these resources.

Method and apparatus for heating mold by high frequency current

The method and apparatus of the invention is used to heat the surface of the mold insert or cavity by high frequency current. There are holes near the heated surface in the mold and the coils can be installed into the holes. The coils surround the heated surface and are conducted with high frequency current. Due to the directional change of the current, the blocks that are surrounded by the coils will be heated by the hysteresis losses and the eddy-current losses. The surface of the mold insert or cavity will be heated rapidly. There are cooling holes set near the heated surface or beside the coil-pipe. The cooling liquid or air can flow in the holes to carry out extra energy and the temperature of the mold will be decreased. The position of the cooling holes, the flow speed and temperature deviation of the liquid and air will influence the temperature of the mold. The method and apparatus will improve the quality of the thermal-plastic products and elevate the number of the cavity.

In the at least one winding (L1), the two alternating currents (iA(t); iB(t)) of the two branches (Z1, z1) are superimposed to form a sum current, namely during parallel operation of the first and second branches (Z1, z1) of the two non-identical inverters.

In one embodiment, an exterior of the pump section defines a gripping indentation above the pump intake. Alternatively, a clamp member may be provided that surrounds the pump, wherein the clamp member defines the gripping indentation. A collet adapter is affixed to an upper end of a shroud. The collet adapter has gripping members that engage the gripping indentation for attaching the shroud to the electrical submersible pump assembly. The collet adapter is provided to ease installation of the motor shroud onto the ESP as well as to ease removal of the motor shroud from the ESP. The collet adapter of the present invention eliminates precise alignment and bolt-on requirements of typical motor shroud mounting techniques.
