The device for detecting the number of people based pressure sources enables the pressure sensors arranged on thelower surface of the carrying platform to have a small amount of deformation through the pressure on the carrying platform, the pressure sensors then transmit the number of their received pressure sources to the processor, the processor analyzes, processes and calculates the transmitted information, and compares the transmitted information with two neighboring groups of data, and if an obtained result is in an error range, sends the processed data to a control terminal. The device realizes real-time detection for the number of people in a station and reasonable scheduling of school buses.
