A delivery system and method for introducing a self-expanding prosthesis into a work site of a patient. The delivery system is introduced to the work site over an elongate guiding member. The delivery system is subsequently uncoupled from the guiding member upon deployment of the prosthesis while remaining within the work site. In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the delivery system comprises an elongate outer member slidably disposed about an elongate inner member. A self-expanding prosthesis is disposed within the outer member and is laterally constrained thereby in a compressed delivery configuration, and is constrained against longitudinal movement relative to the inner member. The inner member further comprises a passageway extending through the distal portion thereof the passageway extending between a distal opening near the distal end of the inner member and a proximal opening spaced proximally from the distal end of the inner member. The outer member comprises an opening in communication with the proximal opening of the inner member. The inner and outer members are configured to allow a guiding member disposed through the passageway and openings to pass laterally out of the passageway and openings upon proximal movement of the outer member relative to the inner member and deployment of the prosthesis.

An integration substrate for a system in package comprises a through-substrate via and a trench capacitor wherein with a trench filling that includes at least four electrically conductive capacitor-electrode layers in an alternating arrangement with dielectric layers. —The capacitor-electrode layers are alternatingly connected to a respective one of two capacitor terminals provided on the first or second substrate side. A device for vibrational stimulation of body tissue in body cavities which are difficult to access, particularly in the nasal cavity or intestine, is disclosed. The device is comprising expandable stimulation means which can be introduced via a body opening into a body cavity. In an expanded state of the device, the stimulation means abuts against the body tissue within the body cavity. To accomplish vibrational stimulation, the stimulation means is brought to vibrate at a frequency of 1-5000 Hz within the body cavity. There is also disclosed a method for vibrational stimulation of body tissue in a body cavity, particularly in the nasal cavity or intestine, of a patient.

Systems and methods for controlling regeneration of a particulate filter downstream of an engine in a vehicle are provided herein. One exemplary method includes, during an engine shutdown, increasing a throttle opening and regenerating a particulate filter downstream of a three-way catalyst. The method also includes, during an engine start following an engine shutdown, setting one or more engine parameters based on whether the particulate filter was regenerated during a last engine shutdown before the engine start.

The present invention relates to a brake holder of a floating-caliper disc brake for motor vehicles at which brake pads arranged on either side of an associated brake disc are displaceably mounted. To ensure ease of displaceability a brake pad guide spring is provided that extends between the brake holder and the brake pads. For ease of mountability of both the brake pads and the brake pad guide spring, it is arranged for that the brake pad guide spring is mountable on the brake holder in a generally radial direction and is locked at the brake holder in both radial and axial directions by means of at least one fixing clamp, and at least one spring arm is designed at the brake pad guide spring and fixes at least one brake pad under spring bias in position on the brake holder in a clearance-free manner. Backup and restore operations in a distributed data system are described. In one embodiment of a backup operation, a computing system includes a media server, and two or more distributed data sources. The media server is configured to establish a first connection with an agent executing on the first data source and receives control information specifying one or more additional data sources to contact to continue the backup operation. Agents on the additional data sources pass control information and/or backup data via each respective connection until the backup operation is complete. In some embodiments, two or more concurrent connections may be established between the media server and distributed data sources. In this manner, a backup operation may be performed for distributed data using control information supplied by the distributed data sources.

An apparatus for cleaning a paint roller includes a container having a top with an insertion opening for introducing a paint-carrying surface of the paint roller into the container and a bottom with a discharge opening for discharging paint out of the container. A spray pipe has holes formed therein for directing water toward the paint-carrying surface within the container. The spray pipe rotates and the paint roller is movable vertically, for washing paint off substantially all of the paint-carrying surface and out of the discharge opening.
