The invention discloses a method for manufacturing green environmental-protection battery-grade
ferrous oxalate; the method comprises the steps: with a full circulation process for production of a mother liquid with
ferrous oxalate, carrying out a
continuous reaction of a pure iron bar with the
mass percentage of 99.95% and a reaction mother liquid containing
sulfuric acid with the
mass percentageof 12%-16% for 8-12 h under normal
temperature and pressure, to generate a
ferrous sulfate solution; pumping the ferrous
sulfate solution to a reaction kettle by a pump, heating up to 38-42 DEG C, then adding an
oxalic acid aqueous solution, to generate a precipitate ferrous
oxalate and dilute
sulfuric acid, carrying out cooling and separation steps, carrying out washing and
drying processes of the
solid ferrous oxalate, allowing all the liquid
sulfur acid to return to a ferrous
sulfate preparation process, and carrying out cyclic repetition of the all steps, so as to save consumption of theraw material
sulfuric acid and consumption of alkaline materials required for subsequent
neutralization of the acidic mother liquid. The method has the advantages of reducing
raw material consumptionand reducing the cost of
wastewater treatment, at the same time, the
particle size distribution of the ferrous oxalate product is uniform, and the method shows good economic and environmental benefitsin technology.
