In telecommunication, circuit restoration is the process by which a communications circuit is established between two users after disruption or loss of the original circuit. The loss may be widespread due to a natural disaster like an ice storm or hurricane, or local by being cut underground in construction or damaged in a thunderstorm or car accident.

This disclosure provides a six-port isolation error amplifier and isolation power supply, including a detection circuit, a pulse width modulation circuit, an encoding / modulation circuit, a coupling transmission circuit, a decoding / demodulation circuit, a recovery circuit, and an open-drain (OD) gate. The detection circuit detects the input voltage and outputs a detection voltage and a detection current positively correlated with the input current. The pulse width modulation circuit generates a first pulse width modulation signal based on the detection voltage. The encoding / modulation circuit converts the first pulse width modulation signal into a transmission signal. The coupling transmission circuit couples and transmits the transmission signal. The decoding / demodulation circuit receives the transmitted coupled signal and recovers the transmitted coupled signal into a second pulse width modulation signal. The recovery circuit recovers the second pulse width modulation signal into a DC voltage positively correlated with the duty cycle of the second pulse width modulation signal. The OD gate converts the DC voltage into an output current positively correlated with the input current. It can replace the optocoupler in the isolation feedback scenario 1:1.
