Data transfer and synchronization system

A system and method for synchronizing devices which can couple to the Internet, or any network. In one aspect a system for synchronizing data between a first system and a second system is provided. The system includes a first sync engine on the first system interfacing with data on the first system to provide difference information. A data store is coupled to network and in communication with the first and second systems. A second sync engine is provided on the second system coupled to receive the difference information from the data store via the network, and interfacing with data on the second system to update said data on the second system with said difference information. Difference information is transmitted to the data store by the first sync engine and received from the data store from the second sync engine. The system may include a management server coupled to the network and in communication with the first sync engine, the second sync engine and the data store. The system may include a plurality of sync engines on a respective plurality of systems, each of said plurality of engines being coupled to receive difference information from each of said first, second and plurality of sync engines from the data store via the network. Each said engine interfaces with data on the system on which it resides to update said data on said system on which it resides with said difference information, and interfaces with data on said system on which it resides to provide difference data information from the system on which it resides to the data store. In a further embodiment, the invention comprises a method for synchronizing at least a first file and a second file resident on a first and a second systems, respectively, coupled to the Internet, respectively. The method includes the steps of: determining difference data resulting from changes to the first file on the first system; transmitting the difference data to a server via the Internet; querying the server from a second system to determine whether difference data exists for files on the second system; retrieving the difference data to the second system; and updating the second file on the second system with the difference data.

In particular said step of receiving may comprise: receiving a change log detailing changes to data files on another system; and applying said changes to a data store containing data identical to said data files to generate changed data. A difference transmitter comprises an application in a system having a data source in a source format. The application may include an application interface, extracting data from said data source; and a difference engine receiving said data and outputting difference information associated with changes to said data source. A method for updating a data source in a system is also disclosed. The method may include the steps of extracting difference information from at least a subset of said data source; and outputting difference information for at least the subset of said data source. The step of extracting may comprise determining whether changes have been made to the subset of data source in the system; and generating a change log detailing changes to the subset of data source on another system. A difference synchronizer includes an extraction routine for extracting a first set of difference information resulting from changes to the data files; a differencing transmitter for transmitting said first set of difference information to an output; a differencing receiver for receiving a second set of difference information from an input; and a reconstruction routine for applying the second set of difference information to the data files. In a particular embodiment, the invention comprises a device engine including an application object; an application object store; and a delta module.

The invention belongs to the satellite navigation and positioning technical field and discloses a low earth orbit satellite-based satellite-earth differential real-time precise positioning method. A low earth orbit satellite is utilized to broadcast the observation data and real-time orbit data of the satellite-borne GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver of the low earth orbit satellite to the ground; and after receiving the differential information broadcasted by the low earth orbit satellite, a ground receiver generates a double-difference observation value consisting of the differential information and a local GNSS observation value and performs pseudorange-based moving base station DGNSS (Differential Navigation Satellite System) positioning and carrier phase-based moving base station RTK (Rea-time kinematic) positioning. According to the positioning method of the invention, the global mobile low earth orbit satellite platform is adopted as a reference station, so that real-time precision differential positioning service in the whole world can be realized, and the method does not depend on the distribution of ground reference stations; and a user can realize differential real-time precise positioning just through using a single receiver, and therefore, the method is free of operating range restrictions, and data communication links are not required to be considered.

Method and apparatus for radar signal processing

A radar apparatus and method for determining the range to and velocity of at least one object comprising, transmitting a plurality of RF signals, each comprising a particular frequency and being transmitted during a particular unique finite period, the plurality of signals collectively comprising at least one first subset of signals having the same frequency and at least one second subset of signals having different frequencies, receiving the plurality of signals after reflection from an object, determining a phase difference between each of the signals and the corresponding reflected signal, each piece of phase difference information herein termed a sample, organizing the samples in two-dimensions wherein, in a first dimension, all samples have the same frequency and, in a second dimension, all consecutive samples are separated from each other by a fixed time interval; processing the samples in the first dimension to determine a phase rotation frequency corresponding to the samples in the first dimension, the phase rotation frequency comprising a Doppler frequency for the at least one object, processing the samples in the second dimension to determine a second phase rotation frequency corresponding to the samples in the second dimension; the phase rotation frequency comprising Doppler frequency and range frequency for the at least one object; comparing the first phase rotation frequency to the second phase rotation frequency to distinguish range frequency from Doppler frequency of the at least one object; and converting the Doppler frequency to a velocity of the object and converting the range frequency to a range of the object.

The invention provides a mirror image snapshooting based on virtual machine backup system which is used for backing up virtual machine information in a virtual platform. The backup system comprises a backup server, a virtual management module, a mirror image snapshooting module and a snapshot comparison module, wherein the backup server is used for storing backup information of at least one virtual machine; the virtual management module is used for selecting the virtual machines required to be backed up; the mirror image snapshooting module is used for creating snapshots for disk mirror images of the virtual machines; and the snapshot comparison module is used for judging whether backup records of the selected virtual machines exist in the backup server and comparing the existent backup records with the created snapshot information if the backup records exist to store and back up differential information in the backup server. According to the system, the mirror image snapshooting module is utilized for snapshooting the virtual machines as needed, and the differential information is quickly extracted for backup storage when the mirror image snapshots of the virtual machines are not the same as the backup information, so that the utilization efficiency of mirror image storage is improved. Furthermore, the invention provides a backup method.
