This invention discloses a cabinet-less, ultra-massive horn
loudspeaker module and
system. It overcomes the double bias of existing technologies that require cabinet encapsulation and bolted fastening for the compression drive head. It utilizes an ultra-massive compression drive head weighing 60-140 kg, which is directly seated and locked to the ground via a carbon
fiber base and at least three triangularly arranged feet. The horn device is directly locked to the acoustic
throat of the drive head with screws. The module has no cabinet walls, completely eliminating wall vibration and back cavity standing
waves. The bottom of the carbon
fiber base is a closed plane, without any exposed
flange mounting holes, threaded holes, connecting ears, or
adhesive bonding surfaces. Multiple modules can be layered on a multi-layer support frame. The support frame serves as a shared inertial
coupling platform for multiple modules, with direct
metal-to-
metal contact between the modules and the support frame, without any
silicone pads. Actual testing shows that the support frame
system outperforms independent modules, with a comprehensive improvement in axial sensitivity above 300 Hz, an improvement of nearly 5 dB above 12 kHz, and a reduction in THD from 1.5% to below 0.08%.
