The invention relates to the field of agriculture science and technology, and particularly relates to a tomato cultivation method. The tomato cultivation method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out cultivation preparation; (2) raising seedlings, namely selecting disease-resistant and high-quality tomato seeds, disinfecting the seeds, accelerating the germination of the disinfected seeds, and after the tomato seeds are germinated, inserting the obtained objects in a cultivation box in the step (1), thus cultivating tomato seedlings; (3) carrying out field planting, namely carrying out soil preparation well according to a conventional method, spreading plant ash in a cultivation ridge, paving a layer of super absorbent polymers on the plant ash, transplanting the tomato seedlings in the step (2) and the culture medium to the cultivation ridge, leaving a hollow plastic pipe at the roots of the tomato seedlings, covering soil, and then watering; and (4) carrying out nutritive water management. The method disclosed by the invention is reasonable, and has the advantages that tomatoes can be cultivated quickly, the growing period is shortened, the planting density is increased, and the yield is increased; and water resources and fertilizers are efficiently utilized, so that the cost is reduced, and economic benefits are improved.
