The present application relates to the technical field of
kingpin steering performance test, and particularly relates to a
kingpin steering mechanism test device and a performance test method, the device comprising a base and a test mechanism, the test mechanism comprising a rotating
assembly, a first load
simulation assembly and a second load
simulation assembly; the first load
simulation assembly comprising a
brake assembly, the
brake assembly comprising a
brake disc; the second load simulation assembly comprising a swing lever and an
impact loading device, the swing lever and the brake disc being alternatively and detachably installed on the rotating assembly; the
impact loading device being used for applying a transient
impact force to the swing lever; wherein the second load simulation assembly is used for completing a steering retention
impact resistance test, and the first load simulation assembly is used for completing a
reducer gear clearance test, a rated torque test, a steering process
impact resistance test and a
kingpin steering mechanism stiffness test. The present application has the
advantage of completely getting rid of the dependence on a whole vehicle or a large comprehensive rack, and greatly reducing the hardware investment, space occupation and preparation time required for the test.
