The material is polylactic acid and may have added copolymer of epsilon-caprolactone and lactide-epsilon-caprolactone, inorganic mineral, silane as cross-linking agent, coloring agent and other components. It may produced into plate through mixing, pelletizing, extruding, rolling and other steps; or into netted structure through mixing, pelletizing, extruding, weaving and other steps. When it is used, the biodegradable medical extracorporeal fixing material is first softened in warm water at 55-70 deg.c, then fixed in the required position and finally hardened after the temperature is lowered to room temperature. The present invention has excellent permeability, good water tolerance, high strength, shape memory function, capacity of being reused, no irritation to skin, degradability and other advantages.
