layers impregnated with organic materials. The device includes a first
pipe body, a heating device, an
insulation layer, a conveying device, a temperature acquisition module, an
image acquisition module, and a
data processing device. The first
pipe body has an inner cavity, the heating device is disposed within the inner cavity, and the
insulation layer is connected to the outer wall of the first pipe body. The conveying device includes a conveying pipe disposed on the outer wall of the first pipe body. The temperature acquisition module acquires temperature information, and the
image acquisition module acquires image information. The
data processing device is electrically connected to the heating device, the conveying device, the temperature acquisition module, and the
image acquisition module, and outputs the smoldering characteristic parameters of the organic material to be tested. The device and method for testing the smoldering characteristics of
pipe insulation layers impregnated with organic materials disclosed in this application solves or improves the problem of being unable to simulate the smoldering characteristic testing of insulation
layers covering the curved surface of hot pipes and impregnated with different organic materials.
