The application discloses a
machining process of a
dodecahedron head bolt, which comprises five core steps of blank pretreatment and
copper plating
lubrication, high-frequency induction rapid heating, rapid hot upsetting forming and
quenching, direct aging heat treatment and thread warm rolling
machining in sequence, and is particularly suitable for preparation of a GH6159 high-temperature
alloy dodecahedron head bolt. The application solves the problem of adhesion of a hot upsetting die through
copper plating
lubrication, adopts a high-frequency induction 6-7s rapid heating + ≤4s extremely rapid hot upsetting + normal temperature
water cooling quenching process to inhibit grain coarsening, and stably controls the grain size at 5-6 levels. The traditional
solid solution + aging process is abandoned, and a 660 DEG C + or - 5 DEG C * 20h direct aging treatment is adopted, so that the tensile strength of the bolt breaks through 1800MPa. The 600 DEG C-610 DEG C preheating stable rolling + rolling
oil cooling process fundamentally solves the problems of thread folding and
broken tooth. The process has strong coherence and high
operability, the prepared bolt meets the use requirements of
aerospace and high-end equipment under high-temperature severe working conditions, and is suitable for industrialized
batch production.
