The invention discloses a shield construction method which uses a shield machine to continuously under-pass dense buildings in a silty-soil and silty-sand formation. The method comprises the following steps: (1) soil improvement, (2) shield tunnel, (3) segment assembly, and (4) synchronized grout injection. The method in the invention overcomes the problem that the prior shield construction methods can not satisfy requirements for ground settlement in shield constructions of water-rich silty-soil and silty-sand formations.
