Moisture analysis covers a variety of methods for measuring moisture content in both high level and trace amounts in solids, liquids, or gases. Moisture in percentage amounts is monitored as a specification in commercial food production. There are many applications where trace moisture measurements are necessary for manufacturing and process quality assurance. Trace moisture in solids must be controlled for plastics, pharmaceuticals and heat treatment processes. Gas or liquid measurement applications include dry air, hydrocarbon processing, pure semiconductor gases, bulk pure gases, dielectric gases such as those in transformers and power plants, and natural gas pipeline transport.

A precision electronic balance is operatively disposed within the microwave chamber for allowing a specimen being assayed to be weighed. A processing unit and associated memory allows means for data acquisition, processing and storage of data from the power module driving the magnetron, the microwave energy sensor(s) for sensing magnetic and/or electric fields and the electronic balance for weighing the initial and final weights of the specimen for loss on drying moisture analysis. The invention discloses a pre-processing system and a pre-processing method of trace moisture analysis in ultrahigh-purity gas. An ultrahigh-purity gas sample bottle is connected to a pressure-reducing valve through a pipeline. A three-way flow path valve, a first diaphragm valve, a trace moisture analysis instrument and a second diaphragm valve are successively connected to the downstream of the pressure-reducing valve in a flow direction of an ultrahigh-purity gas sample through the pipeline. One end of the three-way flow path valve is detachably connected to a high-vacuum system. The pre-processing method correspondingly includes following steps: enabling the ultrahigh-purity gas sample to pass through a simple purging device and enabling moisture in the device to be rapidly discharge through a vacuum process in the high-vacuum system and a heating process in a heating device to complete the pre-processing operation before the trace moisture analysis. The invention discloses a moisture analysis method in segmented drying, which comprises the following steps of fitting and calculating the drying time and the moisture ratio of the material when the material to be dried is dried at constant temperature and constant speed under different drying conditions with a plurality of drying kinetic models, thereby determining an optimal drying kinetic model; the drying time and the moisture ratio of the material to be dried are calculated according to the optimum drying kinetic model. Fitting the different drying conditions with the drying constants inthe optimal drying kinetic model, thereby determining a functional equation between the drying conditions and the drying constants; The number of drying stages, drying time and drying conditions of each drying stage are selected, and then the optimum drying kinetic model and the drying constant equation are substituted to obtain the moisture change of the material to be dried in the segmented drying. The embodiment of the invention can meet the requirement of analysis and detection of complex moisture change in the segmented drying process, is favorable for designing, optimizing the segmenteddrying process, and improving the product quality and production energy efficiency of the segmented drying.
