The invention relates to a fertilizing method in
flue-cured tobacco production, and belongs to the technical field of
flue-cured tobacco fertilization. In the method, before a
flue-cured tobacco sprout is cultured, the total quantity of a
fertilizer is determined by measuring earthwork according to the required height of a field
ditch, and 95 percent of the
fertilizer serving as a base
fertilizer based on the total quantity of the fertilizer is fertilized into the field
ditch twice; and after the flue-cured tobacco sprout is cultured, the fertilizer in an amount which accounts for 5 percent of the total quantity of the fertilizer is fertilized in the field
ditch, which is 10 to 15cm deviated from the center of the sprout. The method comprises the specific steps of: a, performing
single fertilization on the upper side of the field ditch by using 57 percent of the fertilizer serving as a first base fertilizer based on the total quantity of the fertilizer which is determined by measuring the earthwork according to the required height of the field ditch; b, after fertilizing the field ditch by using the first base fertilizer, clearing the field ditch to 25cm on the upper side of the field ditch, and performing
single fertilization on the upper side of the field ditch by using 38 percent of the fertilizer serving as a second base fertilizer based on the total quantity of the fertilizer; and c, covering 5 to 8cm soil on the surface which is fertilized by the second base fertilizer, controlling the height of the field ditch to be 40cm, and allowing two
layers of fertilizers to be arranged vertically in the center of a
ridge. The method has the advantages of uniform fertilization, long time for
fertility, fast maturity of a tobacco
plant, and capability of effectively preventing the fertilizer deficiency and reducing the labor intensity.
