The device comprises a container, a valve assembly, a dispensing nozzle, a hardenable material, and pressurized inert gas as a propelling mechanism. The control tab may be actuated by touch or by pressure applied to the applicator pad. An optional flow control feature, in addition to the control tab, is a slit formed in the foam pad. The slit is designed so that it remains closed when no pressure is exerted on the distal surface of the foam pad. However, when pressure is exerted on the distal surface of the foam pad, such as when the applicator is pressed against a patient's skin, the slit opens to allow the anti-microbial solution to flow past the slit into the foam pad. There the anti-microbial solution can be easily distributed over the patient's skin by the foam pad. When a sufficient amount of the anti-microbial solution has flowed into the foam pad, the healthcare professional can release the pressure sensitive control tab to stop the flow of anti-microbial solution out of the aerosol container.

A system and method for dispensing a sealant over aircraft fasteners secured to a surface in the aircraft. The system includes a nozzle tip having a shroud configured for placement over the fasteners. Sealant is metered to the shroud via an orifice within the nozzle tip. The shroud is sized to leave a space between it and the fastener to control the amount of sealant applied to the fastener upper surface and along the interface between the fastener and aircraft surface. Pressurized fluid urges the sealant through the orifice.

A diverter assembly includes a main body, a valve device and a movable body. The main body is hollow and has a water inlet tube and two water outlet tubes. One of the two water outlet tubes is communicated through a hose to a shower nozzle. An air-cooled hard hat includes a hard hat and a fan arrangement. The fan arrangement has a fan, an input, and at least one outlet for distribution of air. An opening is made on the hard hat, which the at least one outlet feeds through. The opening may be located on the front face of a laterally facing wall of the hard hat. When the fan arrangement is attached to the hard hat, the outlet provides air to the interior of the hard hat through the hole. A system and method for controlling a backup operation to backup data from a source device to a backup storage device are described. Backup software creates checkpoints during the backup operation. Each checkpoint represents a point from which the backup operation can be re-started in case of failure. The backup software enables an administrator to specify a desired time interval between the checkpoints. The backup operation is performed using a backup protocol which uses a transfer frame size to determine when to create each checkpoint. The backup software translates the checkpoint time interval specified by the administrator into an appropriate transfer frame size in order to achieve the desired checkpoint time interval. The transfer frame size may be dynamically adjusted between each checkpoint.

A system for releasing flavor is disclosed. The scent-releasing mechanism includes a chamber configured to enclose a scent source such as a scent cartridge, scent pad or the like, an air inlet, and an air outlet to release scent into a stream of air moved by the air moving device, so that the scent is dispersed throughout the room. At least one of the air inlet or air outlet is an adjustable port. The adjustable port may be adjusted to control the amount of scent released through the air outlet.

The present invention relates to small particles comprising a radionuclide and in particular to small particles comprising a radionuclide for implantation in organs or tissues or tumours of subjects. Embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed for embolisation into the arterial system using a technique known as radioembolisation or Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT) and will be described hereinafter with reference to this application. However, it will be appreciated that the invention is not limited to this particular field of use. The small particles are preferably radioactive microspheres comprising a matrix and a radionuclide stably attached. These microspheres have a diameter ranging from 5 to 45 μm and the radionuclide has a specific activity ranging from 100 to 2000 Bq per microsphere.

Some embodiments include a strike training machine that provides bidirectional resistance. The machine replicates the full and natural trajectory of the striking motion and provides resistance throughout extension and contraction of the striking motion. In this manner, the machine trains all muscles involved in a particular strike. The trajectory of the machine is user adjustable to accommodate different striking motions which include punches, kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and throwing motions. A method for preparing a dehumidifying element including a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) comprises mixing SAP particles with inorganic salt particles, exposing the SAP particles and the inorganic salt particles to a high humidity atmosphere thereby absorbing the deliquescent inorganic salt by the SAP, and drying moisture inside the SAP that has absorbed the inorganic salt. Accordingly, an amount of the inorganic salt absorbed by the SAP is minutely controlled thus to precisely control a degree of an ion exchange therebetween, thereby freely controlling a hygroscopic property of the dehumidifying element including the SAP. Furthermore, since the SAP particles and the inorganic salt particles are physically mixed together, the mixture ratio therebetween is entirely uniform, and therefore, the reliability of the product can be obtained.

A rolling ball style cosmetic container structure includes a tube, an axle sleeve, a hollow piston rod, a resilient member and an exterior cap. The axle sleeve includes a holding space, an inner flange, an outer flange, a resistant holding surface and a material discharge hole. The present invention discloses a driving circuit including a rectifying circuit and a first current-controlling circuit. Input terminals of the rectifying circuit are connected to output terminals of an AC power source. A method and apparatus for removing tubulars from a wellbore is disclosed. A lifting member grips the tubular and applies a lifting force. The lifting force is then transferred to a first surface. The lifting member is monitored and when the capacity of the first surface is reached a force transfer assembly is activated. The force transfer assembly transfers the lifting load between the first surface and a second surface. The lifting member and force transfer assembly are then adjusted to maximize the amount of lifting force applied to the tubular.
