A system for providing a wide range of telecommunications initiated data fulfillment services in which a multi-function code, such as “*#” (star, pound), input into an originating telecommunications device, such as a conventional land-line or wireless telephone, triggers the treatment of the input sequence as a multi-function code service request rather than a dialed directory number. The multi-function code is followed by an input data string to complete the multi-function code service request, which the user typically enters into the telecommunications device just like a conventional telephone call, except that the input string begins with the multi-function code. The telecommunications system recognizes the multi-function code as a trigger, and in response takes one or more actions, such as automatically terminating the call to an announcement and routing a data message to a data fulfillment center, which responds to the message by implementing a response action indicated by the multi-function code service request. For example, the data fulfillment center may respond by transmitting a message over a wireless data network or the Internet to implement a service, such as activation of a vending machine, remote control of device, delivery of a message over the Internet or wireless data network, initiation of an interactive Internet session with the originating device, or a wide range of other services. In addition, a charge for this service may be automatically charged to an account associated with the originating telecommunications device, which may be billed separately or incorporated on the user's conventional monthly telecommunications invoice.

The higher and lower priority packets each include Coupled Label and Sequence Number fields for discriminating one of the packets that are repeatedly transmitted, the Coupled Label field of the higher priority packet is recorded with a label value of the lower priority packet, and the Coupled Label field of the lower priority packet is recorded with a label value of the higher priority packet.

A barrier assembly includes first, second and third bodies that are vertically stacked. Each body includes a top surface and side surfaces. Inlet ports are formed within the top surfaces. A kickstand for an electronic device includes a standing leg, a base and an adhesive provided on a surface of the base so that the base can be attached to the protective case. The kickstand further includes a shaft and the standing leg is pivoted on the base. The base includes a first opening and a second opening to receive both ends of the shaft, and the shaft is substantially in a shape of a cylinder and includes a head, a body, and a bottom. The shaft further includes a cylindrical hole formed on the bottom and a metal pin is received in the cylindrical hole. The diameter of the head is greater than that of the body. Additionally, the diameter of the bottom is greater than that of the body.

A sterilization device for a stethoscope is provided, comprising a cover member and an ultraviolet light source. The stethoscope includes a chestpiece member having a face portion adapted to contact a patient. The cover member is adapted to operably engage the chestpiece member such that the cover member is movable with respect to the face portion and normally biased to cover the face portion. The ultraviolet light source is operably engaged with the cover member and configured to emit ultraviolet radiation for interacting with the face portion only when the cover member is covering the face portion. The ultraviolet light source thereby provides anti-microbial sterilization of at least the face portion of the chestpiece member. An associated apparatus is also provided.

A stand for an electronic device includes a base, a ring, a hinge, a cover and a hinge receiving wall and an adhesive provided on a surface of the base so that the base can be attached to the electronic device. The ring further includes a cylindrical engaging portion on a portion of the ring. The hinge includes a protrusion and an engaging groove which is formed by a cutout space on a side of the hinge. The hinge is received a shape corresponding to the engaging portion of the ring in the engaging groove. The cover for covering the hinge in the cover is received a shape corresponding to the hinge to snugly fit the hinge therein. The hinge receiving wall receives the protrusion of the hinge.

A medical device (110) including a catheter shaft (111) and a unitarily and continuously formed portion (108) having a varying durometer, and optionally including an expandable balloon (18, 118). One or both of the unitarily and continuously formed portion (108) and the balloon (18, 118) are made from an irradiation cross-linked or cross-linkable mixture of a polyamide elastomer and at least one additional cross-linking reactant. The polyamide elastomer can be a polyester amide, a polyether ester amide or a polyether amide, and is preferably a nylon block copolymer. The aromatic molecule can be 1,3,5 triethyl benzene; 1,2,4 triethyl benzene; and 1,3,5 triisopropyl benzene. The cross-linking reactant can be: (a) a difunctional material, (b) a trifunctional material, (c) a tetrafunctional material, or (d) an aromatic molecule containing at least two ring substituents, each of the ring substituents having labile hydrogens at a benzylic site therein. A carrying device, for carrying a box substantially in the shape of a rectangular prism, having a main strap, and a pair of transverse straps. The transverse straps extend parallel to each other, perpendicular to the main strap, cross the main strap, and are attached to the main strap at the crossings. A handle strap extends along the main strap, and is fastened to the main strap between the crossings, and between each of the crossings and the closest end of the main strap, forming handgrips at the crossings. The ends of the main strap and transverse straps have mateable buckles which allow the straps to be fastened around all sides of the box, and permit easy release.

The stopper includes a head portion sized to reside external to the bottle opening and a neck portion sized to fit and be selectively retained within the neck of the bottle. The stopper further has an inert gas entry port for receiving a source of pressurized inert gas and for introducing the inert gas proximate the meniscus of the liquid in the bottle and a gas venting port for discharging gas from the bottle upon the introduction of inert gas thereto. The stopper is provided with a plurality of seals substantially preventing liquid from passing through the stopper when the neck portion is seated within the bottle opening.

A tray fitted to at least some teeth of a patient's upper or lower arch is provided for the application of medications to the teeth and to adjacent gum tissue for treatment of periodontal disease. The tray is constructed from resilient material molded to conform to the teeth and gum tissue. The tray includes at least one recess formed to conform to the teeth. A seal surrounds the recess at a location corresponding to the patient's gum line for applying pressure at the patient's gum line when the patient's teeth are disposed in the recess. The recess contains a quantity of a medication. Upon installation of the tray on the patient's teeth, the medication is forced onto the surface of the teeth and subgingivally by the seal into any pockets in the patient's gums proximate the teeth. If desired, a propulsion agent can be disposed within the recess such that upon application of the tray onto the patient's teeth, the propulsion agent generates pressure within the recess so as to positively force the medication onto the patient's teeth and into any of the pockets in the patient's gums proximate the teeth. Methods for making the tray and for applying medication to a patient's teeth and gums also are disclosed.
