An information handling system manages operation of an infrared time of flight sensor to provide accurate and timely user presence and absence detection through monitoring of the time of flight distance detection for indications of object velocity that validates or invalidates a transition between the user presence and user absence states. An integrated sensor hub in a central processing unit stores distances received from the infrared time of flight sensor in a distance table in association with a time stamp of the distance measurement. During monitoring of distances received from the infrared time of flight sensor, if the integrated sensor hub detects a user absence or presence, validation of the transition is performed by analyzing the stored distances to determine a vector of velocity at the state transition.

In a method for stabilising a motor vehicle which is decelerated into a rest position and in a corresponding motor vehicle brake system which is provided with a service brake and a parking brake which can be actuated independently of the driver, when activation of the parking brake is initiated, the service brake changes from a first braking-force distribution of a service brake mode to a mode simulating a second braking-force distribution of the parking brake, and a switch-back to the first braking-force distribution of the service brake mode is enabled at least during the transition.

The invention relates to a station and a yarn guide of a rotor spinning machine, the rotor spinning machine is provided with a rotor spinning device used for spinning fed fiber slivers and a yarn guide unit arranged at the downstream of the rotor spinning device, the yarn guiding unit is provided with an inlet hole used for receiving the yarn coming out of the outlet hole of the air-jet spinning device, a yarn guiding channel used for guiding at least the air-jet spinning yarn coming out of the air-jet spinning device, and a yarn guiding piece used for being arranged between the outlet hole of the air-jet spinning device and the inlet hole of the yarn guiding unit. In order to provide a rotor spinning machine station which ensures that a yarn end is reliably fed back into a spinning device and a yarn guide piece used on the rotor spinning machine station, the yarn guide piece is provided with a channel body, the yarn guide unit is provided with a through channel which is provided with a connecting part and an end part, wherein the connecting part is used for being connected with the spinning device and arranging a first opening end of the through channel in an outlet hole area of the spinning device, the end part is opposite to the inlet hole, and the end part is matched with a contour of the yarn guide unit surrounding the inlet hole in order to receive the yarn coming out of the inlet hole.
