The present invention provides a flame retardant composition which has an excellent flame retardancy and water resistance, a flame-retardant resin composition, a molded article, and a molded product thereof. The present invention provides a flame retardant composition characterized by containing the following component (A), component (B) and component (C). In the flame retardant composition, the component (A) is one or more melamine salts selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate and melamine polyphosphate; the component (B) is one or more piperazine salts selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate and piperazine polyphosphate; and the component (C) is an epoxy compound having a molecular weight or a number average molecular weight of from 300 to 10,000.
