The invention discloses a
file storage system for accelerating simultaneous playback of multiway monitoring. When the
file storage system is used for the first time, a disk is formatted to form 4 partitions including a
system attribute partition, a date index partition, a file index partition and a data block partition; the format of a partitioned file is reset; when a video is played back, by directly reading and writing the
file storage system, a
server retrieves a primary index partition through a time period parameter to obtain an index
record of a date of a time period, retrieves a secondary index partition through a recorded offset address field value to obtain initial offset addresses of all video data blocks in the time period corresponding to the date, extracts data and returns the data to a
client; and the primary index partition takes the date as a retrieval standard, the secondary index partition takes a block
timestamp and a
block type as retrieval standards, and accordingto the setting of secondary index contents, the purpose of quick
data retrieval is achieved. By adopting the file storage system, the problem of low
disk storage, reading-writing, search and locatingspeeds during playback operation of a multiway monitoring device can be effectively solved.
