The invention relates to an infrared touch screen, wherein on at least on detection direction, an infrared emitter and two infrared receivers are deflected toward the center of a touch screen to inverse the directions of the infrared emitter and the infrared receivers to form crossed relation. The invention further provides a multipoint touch positioning method of the infrared touch screen, which comprises (a), respectively initializing the infrared receiver vertical with the infrared emitter and the infrared receiver inclined and opposite with the infrared emitter, (b), vertically scanning and detecting, comparing with vertical initialized value, (c), calculating the possible position coordinate of each touch point, (d), processing inclined scanning detection to be compared with inclined initialized value, (e), determining the relation expression between the real coordinates X, Y of the touch point, checking the possible coordinates calculated in the step (c) in the relation expression, and determining the position coordinate of each touch point. The invention has simple structure and low cost, which can realize accuracy multipoint touch positioning.
