The invention discloses a cucumber grafting method which comprises the steps of growing seedlings of stock and scion seed respectively; when the hypocotyl of the stock out of earth is 5-6cm long and the cotyledon tends to get flat and the scion seedling cotyledon is flat, removing the growing point of the stock seedling from the cotyledon; vertically and transversely inserting a disinfected bamboo stick into the hypocotyl on the vertical side of the cotyledon 0.3cm below the base of the cotyledon of the stock seedling, and transversely cutting the part 1.5-2cm below the growing point of the scion seedling into a single bevel; pulling out the bamboo stick, quickly inserting the single-bevel hypocotyl obtained by cutting the scion seedling while keeping the stock and the scion in a vertical state to finish the grafting; transplanting the grafted seedling into a tunnel, and managing the temperature, humidity, illumination and ventilation; about 18 days later, performing planting. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simplicity in operation and quick grafting; the probability of infection at the wound of the grafted seedling can be remarkably reduced, and the survival rate of the grafted seedling is greatly improved; the requirement for the seedling age of the stock and scion is relatively low, and the period for obtaining the grafted seedling is short.

The method can improve the ornamental value of the crape myrtle, accelerates the healing, and increase the survival rate.
