This invention discloses a microporous
quartz aerator, which comprises: an
aeration plate, an outer jacket, an inner jacket, and an
aeration pipe. The lower end of the inner jacket is fixed with an
aeration joint, and its upper end is connected with the outer jacket. The aeration joint is connected with a unidirectional air valve. The planar or spherical aeration plate is fixed between the two jackets, and has
honeycomb-like pore network inside. The aeration plate is produced by: mixing
quartz sand 55-95%, high-temperature fluxing agent 5-45%, and
adhesive (3-6 wt. % of
quartz sand and fluxing agent), and calcining at high temperatures. The aeration plate has a
porosity 30% higher than that of microporous
corundum aeration plate, thus has such advantages as low wind resistance, large interface of gas and liquid, uniform bubble
diffusion, adequate
oxygen dissolution, no air hole blockage, good aeration effect, high
wastewater purification quality, increased
wastewater treatment efficiency by more than 5 times, good
corrosion, acid and base resistance, no aging, and long service life.
