According to the method, the indoor artificial propagation of the Microplitis prodeniae Rao and Kurian is realized.

The invention provides a method for breeding beet armyworm. Different beet armyworm unit area breeding amounts are set for different beet armyworm growing stages, and thus healthy and safe growth of beet armyworm is promoted. Feed is prepared from the main ingredients of corn flour, yeast powder, citric acid, sodium benzoate, saccharose, vitamin C, folium mori, radix angelica sinensis powder, semen cassiae powder and water. The two traditional Chinese medicine materials of radix angelica sinensis powder and semen cassiae powder are added on the basis of traditional feed for beet armyworm and can improve the immunity of beet armyworm in combination with folium mori, and thus the effect of increasing the larva survival rate, pupation rate and eclosion rate of beet armyworm is achieved; detection shows that the propagation efficiency of beet armyworm bred with the feed can be improved by 10% or above.
