A lightweight open wagon special for transporting ores comprises a wagon body steel structure, a wagon hook buffer device, a steering frame and a
brake device. The wagon body steel structure comprises a bottom frame, lateral walls and an end wall. The bottom frame comprises a
tail device mounting seat, an auxiliary crossbeam, an auxiliary longitudinal beam, a sleeper beam, a middle beam, a large crossbeam, a small crossbeam and a steel floor. The bottom frame without an end beam and a lateral beam, the lateral walls and the end wall are connected through integral full-steel
welding to form an integral stress frame structure.
Slag-preventing plates are disposed at the connection of the end wall and a lateral wall, the connection of the end wall of the bottom frame and the connection of the lateral wall of the bottom frame. The lightweight open wagon has the advantages that the end beam and the lateral beam of the bottom frame of a traditional open wagon are omitted, weight of the open wagon is effectively lowered while
load capacity of the same is increased, the
main bearing part of the wagon body is made of high-strength weather-resisting steel, strength margin and
corrosion resistance of the parts of the open wagon are increased, and the service life of the open wagon is prolonged; wagon hooks conforming to AAR standards and a large-capacity rubber buffer are utilized to effectively increase the
impact load bearing capacity of the open wagon.
