The present application relates to the field of
calcium fluoride content determination, and specifically discloses a method for detecting
calcium fluoride content in
fluorite ore containing
calcium sulfate. The detection method comprises the following steps: S1 sample pretreatment; S2 sample residue leaching and
dissolution: using aluminum
chloride solution leaching method for
dissolution; S3 determination of
total calcium in sample residue: using EDTA
titration method for determination; S4 determination of calcium amount introduced by calcium
sulfate dissolution in sample residue; S5 calculation of calcium
fluoride content:
total calcium content in sample residue minus equivalent
calcium content calculated from the content of
sulfate, plus calcium fluoride dissolution correction coefficient, which is the calcium fluoride content in the sample. By implementing the present application, the problem of abnormal increase of calcium fluoride content in
fluorite sample due to incomplete separation when the content of calcium sulfate is high is solved, and the problem of accurate measurement of calcium fluoride content in
fluorite sample containing a large amount of calcium sulfate is effectively solved. The relative error of the detection result is reduced from 7%-350% of the existing method to less than 2%.
